How missed check-ins work

A missed check-in means the daily signal was not completed. It does not automatically mean there is an emergency.

How family visibility works

Trusted family members can see daily status and related context where permissions allow. DailyOK is designed for reassurance, not constant tracking or surveillance.

What to do in a real emergency

Use local emergency services, doctors, caregivers, or trusted people nearby. DailyOK cannot replace real-world emergency response or human judgment.

Data and access

  • Account details, check-ins, reminders, and family links are collected to operate the service.
  • DailyOK does not use continuous device GPS tracking. Profile location fields are address details you enter, not live tracking.
  • Family invitation and consent control who can see check-ins, moods, reminders, and notes.
  • Access can be revoked by removing trusted family members or ending links in account settings.
  • Account recovery uses OTP verification on the registered contact path.
  • You can request account and data deletion through in-app account controls or the verified account-deletion page.

Notifications and limits

  • Selected family contacts are notified through push and email when those channels are configured, supported, and available for the account, device, and region.
  • WhatsApp notifications are not available during the current free-launch phase.
  • Urgent help can bypass silent hours; Need help follows normal silent-hour settings.
  • If push is disabled, the phone is offline, or email is delayed, family may not see an alert immediately.
  • DailyOK does not sell personal information for advertising.
  • DailyOK does not contact emergency services and is not medical monitoring.
