How to use DailyOK
Choose Parent or Family. Each task is a short numbered list—not a long manual.
-
Create an account and set a check-in time
Install DailyOK on Android, verify with OTP, then choose a daily check-in time you can keep.
-
Check in each day
When the morning prompt arrives, choose how today feels (Calm, Happy, Tired, Low, or Anxious), or tap Need help / Urgent help. Compact Feeling good and I'm OK actions are also available. Extra status taps during the day update family but do not replace the morning check-in.
-
Use Today for check-in and reminders
Today shows the morning check-in and routine reminders together. For a reminder, tap Done or Remind me later. Acknowledgement is not proof that medicine was taken.
-
Send a short family message
Use a preset such as I'm fine today, Thinking of you, Call when you can, A bit tired, or Out briefly. These are short status messages—not a chat app.
-
Ask for help when you need it
Need help and Urgent help alert selected family contacts. DailyOK does not call 112, ambulance, or police.
-
Choose your language
Each person can use English, Hindi, Gujarati, Marathi, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, or Punjabi. Coverage continues to improve, with English fallback.
-
Set silent hours
Quiet hours reduce routine notifications. Urgent help can still reach family.
-
Understand the reassurance score
DailyOK shows a reassurance score from check-ins, reminders, and family activity. It is not a health score, diagnosis, or proof that someone is safe.
-
Install and create an account
Use only the official DailyOK destination. Register in the app—no approval is required.
-
Set up a parent or accept an invite
A family member can set up a parent in DailyOK, or link with an invite. Then share reminders and notes in Family Hub.
-
Use one account for both roles if needed
One account can be both a parent and a family supporter. Switch in the app when you need the other view.
-
Create reminders for a linked parent
Add one-time or repeating reminders for medicines, walks, meals, water, appointments, or other routines.
-
Add family notes
Share a short note so siblings see the same context. Pin a note when it should stay visible.
-
Read Family Hub
See today status, reminders, notes, and support signals for linked parents—without constant calling.
-
If a check-in is missed
Family Hub shows that the daily signal is missing. Follow up with a call or visit as your family would normally do. A missed check-in is not automatically an emergency.
-
Acknowledge or resolve a help alert
When a parent taps Need help or Urgent help, selected contacts can acknowledge and resolve the event. DailyOK does not contact emergency services.
-
Language and silent hours
Each person chooses their own language. Silent hours quiet routine notifications; urgent family alerts can still come through.
-
Reassurance score
The score reflects DailyOK activity—check-ins, reminders, and family engagement. It is not medical monitoring.
